This film explores the impact of the collapse of the Soviet Union on public health in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan and raises questions of responsibility for alleviating poverty and improving public health in the new independent republics.

The film was first screened at the International Conference of the British Geographical Society/ Institute of British Geographers  in September 2006.
