This is from the soundtrack for Questions of Responsibility.

Armenia has been in conflict ,if not outright war, with Turkey since the early twentieth century.  Ironically the melody in this track is me playing a Turkish Saz. It’s a 7 stringed instrument with a long neck and bowl shaped body.

I really like the sound of this instrument. Its sound is somewhere between a Sitar and a 12 string guitar.

Again the melody is neither Turkish nor Armenian but it has a vaguely middle eastern feel to it and, of course, it is also at the limits of my playing ability on this instrument.
